What are the philosophical principles you think are important to live by? What rules do you set for yourself that make you feel fulfilled? How do you think we should think about the world and how should we act in it?
Ill share a few on top of my mind-
1. I always try to run towards things that I fear or make me nervous. I have seen this advice time and time again in my reading. We need to tackle the things we are afraid of head on. Otherwise what we run from grows and we shrink. Every time we do something that we were scared to do, we grow a little stronger in relation to all other challenges.
2. Integrity is an important part of my philosophy on character. I think if you say to yourself you will do something or say that you will to someone else, its so important to follow through. We can really get into a messy place if our word begins to mean nothing to others and an even worse place if we can't even keep the promises we make to ourselves!
3. I have a strong philosophy around continual learning. I believe that we should always be trying to expand our perspective. This means we need to sacrifice what we already know and be willing to be wrong (often a painful experience), in order to learn something new. I know you all probably have a million, please share as many as you want! Cant wait to hear them :)
Much to learn we all* still have.
